Micropropagation of the therapeutic-honey plants

چکیده
Demand for therapeutic honey is driving establishment of Leptospermum plantations. This study developed micropropagation methods two species – polygalifolium Salisb. and L. scoparium J.R.Forst. & G.Forst. The determined how shoot proliferation adventitious rooting were influenced by the original explant position on seedling concentration benzyladenine (BA) in medium. Hormone-free node culture was highly effective both species. Nodal explants often formed roots absence BA elongated axillary shoots. Automatic Micropropagation of Plants
Micropropagation is a sophisticated technique for the rapid multiplication of plants. It has a great commercial potential due to the speed of propagation, the high plant quality, and the ability to produce disease-free plants. However, micropropagation is usually done by hand which makes the process cost-intensive and tedious for the workers especially because it requires a sterile work-place. ...
متن کاملTherapeutic properties of honey
Honey has been successfully used in medicine since antiquity. However, with the advent of modern medicine it has been less used, especially in the English-speaking world. Its beneficial effects in different disorders, rediscovered in recent decades, will be discussed below on the basis of a series of international scientific studies conducted to investigate the therapeutic properties of this na...

Numerous parameters affect the quality of honey from different beehive types (Albert – Žindaršić AŽ, Langstroth – Roott LR i Dadant – Blatt DB), i.e. the material of beehives are made of, the origin of queen bees (natural and selected), etc. Our research focuses on the influence of the botanic origin of honey plants (Tilia sp. L. (lime), Amorpha fructirosa L. (desert false indigo), Helianthus a...

Medicinal honey research is undergoing a substantial renaissance. From a folklore remedy largely dismissed by mainstream medicine as "alternative", we now see increased interest by scientists, clinical practitioners and the general public in the therapeutic uses of honey. There are a number of drivers of this interest: first, the rise in antibiotic resistance by many bacterial pathogens has pro...
