چکیده

Demand for therapeutic honey is driving establishment of Leptospermum plantations. This study developed micropropagation methods two species – polygalifolium Salisb. and L. scoparium J.R.Forst. & G.Forst. The determined how shoot proliferation adventitious rooting were influenced by the original explant position on seedling concentration benzyladenine (BA) in medium. Hormone-free node culture was highly effective both species. Nodal explants often formed roots absence BA elongated axillary shoots. Median numbers 584 659 31–32 weeks from a single or seed, respectively. A low dose callogenesis polygalifolium, but not scoparium. median number shoots produced seed 630 using 2.22-μM BA. induced extremely high some clones because extensive callus multiple short Shoots without indole-3-butyric acid plantlets acclimatised to nursery conditions. did influence rooting. proved amenable micropropagation, facilitating rapid nectar

Automatic Micropropagation of Plants

Micropropagation is a sophisticated technique for the rapid multiplication of plants. It has a great commercial potential due to the speed of propagation, the high plant quality, and the ability to produce disease-free plants. However, micropropagation is usually done by hand which makes the process cost-intensive and tedious for the workers especially because it requires a sterile work-place. ...
